Polymarket: South Carolina a small underdog to Oklahoma
South Carolina has momentum after two straight Top 20 wins, including a walk-off thriller over No. 11 Tennessee Saturday evening at Williams-Brice Stadium but the schedule doesn't get any easier.
Oklahoma, next week's opponent, has had an up-and-down season but played good ball on Saturday in a win over Mississippi State and is an early 3.5-point favorite over the Gamecocks, according to the Polymarket App, which set the total at 44.5 points.
Traders currently give South Carolina a 39 percent to win the game, per the app.
The Gamecocks travel to Oklahoma off two straight wins, including Saturday's 27-24 victory over Tennessee and a 38-19 win at Florida that came before the bye week.
Oklahoma has beaten rival Texas, lost to Kentucky, and beaten Mississippi State on the road over the last three weeks.
The last time South Carolina traveled to Norman the Gamecocks blew out the Sooners 35-9 in a win that jumpstarted their entire season. Oklahoma returned the favor at Willy B last year in a dominant 26-7 Sooners win.
Kickoff for this season's matchup is set for Saturday at 4:15 on SEC Network.
