Amazon to Invest an Additional $5 Billion in Anthropic

Amazon.com Inc. is investing an additional $5 billion in Anthropic PBC, with a plan to expand that investment to as much as $20 billion over time, the companies said.Bloomberg Terminal

Anthropic, which makes the Claude chatbot and coding tool, plans to spend more than $100 billion over the next ten years on Amazon's cloud technologies and chips. Amazon is one of Anthropic's biggest backers.
