Anthropic's Amodei seeks copyright deal that 'works for everyone'

Anthropic chief executive Dario Amodei says his rare visit to Australia is not about convincing the Albanese government to give the artificial intelligence labs unpaid access to copyrighted material, but about finding a path forward that benefits both rights holders and AI companies.

Amodei on Wednesday met Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Industry Minister Tim Ayres to sign a memorandum of understanding between Anthropic and the Australian government.
