CoreWeave strikes AI cloud deal with Anthropic, shares surge

Cloud infrastructure firm CoreWeave said it has struck a deal with Anthropic to supply the AI startup with cloud computing capacity, sending its shares up more than 13% on Friday.

The multi-year ⁠agreement, whose financial terms were not disclosed, will bring computing capacity for Anthropic online later this year and help it run workloads for its Claude family of AI models.
