
STARBASE, Texas (ValleyCentral) -- SpaceX announced it has rescheduled its twelfth Starship test flight.
The anticipated launch was originally scheduled to take place on Tuesday, May 19. In an update provided by SpaceX, the company is now targeting its launch test as early as Wednesday, May 20.
The twelfth SpaceX launch test flight will be the first flight test of 2026.
As previously reported on ValleyCentral, the twelfth test will debut the third generation of Starship and Super Heavy, which is expected to take off from a new launch pad.
Temporary road closures are expected ahead of the target flight test date along Highway 4 and Boca Chica Beach.
