Fuel protests appear to have reached England, with tractors and lorries reportedly blocking one stretch of the M25. Pictures taken on Wednesday afternoon show one side of the M25 near Dartford Crossing being totally empty.
The unusual sight would be the result of protesters taking to the area to voice their unhappiness at the rising cost of fuel in light of the war in Iran. This comes as Essex Police said it is aware of social media posts suggesting demonstrations could take place at the key Thurrock-Kent route and has reassured residents it is ready to respond to any disruption.
